About Ashley James

As an Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner at Sunnybrook since November 2021, I am passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors in the hospital and health care industry. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health and Disease and Biology from the University of Toronto and multiple certifications in medical terminology, agile project leadership, and healthcare projects. In my current role, I collaborate with various stakeholders to implement and evaluate infection prevention and control strategies, policies, and procedures. I also coordinate and manage projects related to infection surveillance, outbreak management, education, and quality improvement. I leverage my skills in multi-tasking, communication, and problem solving to deliver effective and efficient solutions that align with the best practices and standards in the field.
