About Ashley Jose

With over 5 years of experience as a registered nurse, I recognize the importance of patient safety, nursing care and nursing leadership. I am extremely passionate about nursing and I am looking to expand my skills as a future nurse leader. I have gained leadership experience working in high demand, fast paced environments such as the emergency department (ED) in York Region as well as rural communities within the province of Alberta. I have served as a preceptor to support new graduate nurses in the ED and worked as a mentor for nursing students at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). I am currently completing my Masters education at the University of Toronto in the Health Systems Leadership and Administration program. Here I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in advanced practice nursing and leadership and management skills.
