About Ashley K. Capps
After the realization set in that I will not be the next Oprah (sadly), I decided to leave my career in television and transition into the field of psychology. Mental health has always been where my true passion lies so I returned to graduate school and earned a masters degree in mental health counseling and a doctoral degree in clinical behavioral health. I currently run a private practice in Destin, Florida where I specialize in trauma, mood and personality disorders. As a therapist my goal is to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients and empower them in their journey towards personal growth and transformation.
