I have worked in various healthcare settings for 15+ years as a certified pharmacy technician specializing in inpatient IV & Chemotherapy. My unique healthcare experience has positively impacted my diverse skill set over the years. In 2017 I shifted my path of affecting positive change in patient care by transitioning to a healthcare improvement company as a Clinical Data Analyst. My attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proactive investigation skills fuel my success in analytics. I am driven to develop/maintain avenues for data analysis by exploring opportunities for process improvement, creating efficiencies, and optimizing data using various Business Intelligence tools (Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, Power BI). I regularly write/maintain SQL scripts to aid a team of 12 with implementations, analysis, audits and quality reviews of hospital & clinical data. I am able to take critical feedback from the end-user and make immediate adjustments to Power BI reports to suit their needs/preferences, and I am always expanding my knowledge, looking for ways to improve the data investigation Volunteering/Giving Back: I am passionate about giving back to my community and helping others. I volunteer with various organizations several times a year, and also a regular blood donor- I am a huge advocate for blood donation from those eligible to donate. I also serve the Premier HQ as a Team Leader/Point-of-Contact in Premier's Local Emergency/Disaster Response Team (LERT Leader). I am trained to respond effectively in various emergency situations for the best possible outcome, with safety being the number one priority. I am an Amateur Radio operator proficient in international Morse Code. I have the license, skills and equipment to provide radio communications in the event of an emergency or natural disaster, where other telecommunications systems may be lost or unreliable.
