Background
About Ashley Lang
Hello! I’m Ashley, a young mental health professional with experiences in various social service sectors. I am an empowerment driven individual with a honours bachelor degree in behavioural psychology and the goal to pursue further education. This has been complimented through my various roles in youth centres, treatment centres, an intimate partner, human trafficking, and family violence agency & private psychotherapy practice. In these roles, I have been able to explore and build my scope in person-centred approaches with enabling exploration of individuals’ whole story while ensuring to remain trauma-informed. I have become equipped to assist children, youth, and adults through various negative aspects they have historically faced or presently face. I currently aspire to build on my scope of practice to assist other populations of struggling individuals and aid in their narrative journey.
