About Ashley Lebel

I have over 13 years of extensive laboratory experience in the mining industry. Started my journey at SGS, as an Analytical Technician. I worked in solution preparation, following SOP's in an ISO 9001 certified laboratory. Highlights of my time with SGS include, assisting the Chief Chemist with method development and I was a member of the Emergency Response Team. In 2015 I moved to the beautiful city of Kingston and worked for Alcereco as a Chemical Technologist. I worked in the research and development involving thermal purification. I preformed all the necessary analytical work, including the maintenance and operation of an Atomic Absorption Spectrometer. Prepared standard operating procedures and was a member of the spill response team. In 2017, I started with Kingston Process Metallurgy (KPM) as a Laboratory Technologist. Preformed a wide range of projects for research and development, primarily in pyrometallurgy. Assisted in the analytical lab with solution preparation, operation and maintenance of an Agilent ICP-OES instrument. Was a member of the Joint Health and Safety committee. Provided training for students and new employees. Pilot plant operations and development. Currently with Worley as a Process Technologist. Operation and maintenance of pilot plant and lab scale polymer development. Audit and wellness committee member. Training new team members.
