About Ashley Lee

My mission is to become a child life specialist dedicated to spreading love, laughter, and positivity to every child, adolescent, and family I have the privilege of meeting. Inspired by the values instilled in me by my immigrant parents, I aspire to navigate alongside the profound challenges that children may encounter. As a recent graduate of the Applied Developmental Psychology (ADP) program at the University of Pittsburgh with a certificate in American Sign Language, I dedicated four years of undergraduate studies to learning about child development and beyond. I am currently enrolled in an accelerated, one-year master’s program at the University to further my education in ADP, with a focus on children with special healthcare needs. After graduating next spring of 2024, I plan to complete an internship the following fall and hope to secure a position as a Certified Child Life Specialist at a children’s hospital.
