A dedicated and adaptable professional with a diverse background in technical and service-oriented roles. Following my education, I began my career as a paint preparation technician at Optare, a leading UK bus manufacturer. After two years, I enlisted in the British Army with the 1st/2nd Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment, where I served for five years. My military experience included an eight-month tour in Afghanistan, during which I developed essential life skills and resilience, as well as serving in Germany and Cyprus. Due to a nerve injury sustained during my service, I was medically discharged in 2015 and subsequently transitioned into civilian life. I worked alongside my cousin in his fire safety business, servicing fire extinguishers and alarms, before moving on to an archery shop as a string maker, where I produced up to 300 strings weekly for orders nationwide. I am a qualified locksmith with seven years of experience in the industry. I manage approximately 30 jobs weekly, specializing in multi-point locks and providing solutions for customers facing lockout situations and security upgrades I am an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individual, adept at both independent and team-based work. With strong communication and listening skills, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development. In addition to my professional endeavors, I engage in voluntary work, coaching under-8s rugby league at Castleford Panthers, and I actively participate in wheelchair rugby league in which I currently play for castleford tigers which has significantly enhanced my confidence and lifestyle. Currently, I find myself in a period of unemployment and am actively seeking new opportunities to apply my skills and experience. I thrive in hands-on environments where I can engage in problem-solving and tackle challenges head-on. My background in locksmithing and technical roles has equipped me with a strong ability to think critically and find effective solutions in various situations. I am eager to contribute my practical skills and dedication to a new role that allows me to work collaboratively while utilizing my passion for hands-on tasks.
