About Ashley Lowe

With over three years of experience in the mental health field and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, I am passionate about supporting student achievement and well-being through data-driven and evidence-based interventions. As an Academic Interventionist at The Soulsville Charter School, I collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to provide individual or small group instruction to students who are struggling academically and to monitor, report, and communicate their progress and performance. I also have a background in mentoring, leadership, volunteering, and organization, which I apply to my role as a School-Based Facilitator at Girls Inc. of Memphis, where I prepare and implement hands-on and minds-on programming and activities for 120-140 girls at selected schools. Additionally, I have developed counseling and social work skills through my previous position as a Family Intervention Specialist at Youth Villages, where I provided in-home counseling services for at-risk youth and families and collaborated with various community stakeholders. My mission is to empower students and families to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
