About Ashley Lowman

I began my career path as an administrative/personal assistant. I was the go-to person for the owner of a company providing online pole fitness classes taught by world famous artists. I was in responsible for all photography and editing, online store inventory, customer service, scheduling for the company and artists, home tasks, and all while caring for the company owner's toddler. The opened many doors for me and provided a varied skill set. From there, I moved on to automotive sales. The position started out as simply scheduling sales appointments, and quickly grew to completing the entire sales process over the phone or internet, leaving just a test drive and paperwork for the in-person meeting. After the automotive industry, I decided to try something new. That led me to the software industry, working with a very small startup selling Customer Relations Management software to real estate agents. I was the only person in the sales department, therefore I was responsible for making all welcome calls, answering incoming phone calls with questions, and providing three live product demonstrations every week. I then found myself at Buffini & Company selling tickets to the motivational speaking events throughout the United States and Canada. Buffini & Co. is a company with a wide net, offering many products and services mainly to Real Estate agents. I am lucky to have experience not only in Event Sales, but in many other facets as well. After taking some time off to start my family, I found my current home with the City of Carlsbad as an administrative assistant to the Public Works Contract Administration team working with a close team to execute all Public Works contracts.
