About Ashley Lowry

I have been a Primary Teacher since 2015 and have gained a wealth of experience from teaching in England, the UAE and Northern Ireland. I have held positions as a Class Teacher and Subject Coordinator in various schools and have enjoyed working with colleagues to continue to raise standards and make whole school developments. I feel passionately about embedding ICT into daily lessons to inspire, engage and motivate pupils with different abilities and learning needs and believe that it is vital to provide our pupils with the best possible learning experiences. Outside of teaching I enjoy working in the Construction sector and have held various part-time and casual positions with local contractors. I have a strong understanding of Health and Safety on-site and believe my experiences of creating risk assessments and method statements for educational visits and events, coupled with my knowledge of working on sites ensure that I understand how to maintain a safe working environment for colleagues. Finally, I am an ambitious individual who continously seeks to develop both personally and professionally therefore utilse CPD, books, podcasts and other sources to add to my skills and qualities.
