About Ashley McAfee

With over ten years of experience in donor development and relationship management, I am a passionate and results-oriented fundraiser and leader at March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization that fights for the health of all moms and babies. As a Manager II, I oversee a portfolio of major donors and prospects, and execute strategic plans to cultivate, solicit, and steward their support. I also manage and mentor a team of development specialists and managers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan and execute successful fundraising events and campaigns. Some of my achievements include implementing mutually beneficial partnerships in support of our critical mission, increasing donor retention and satisfaction rates, and exceeding annual revenue goals. I have also leveraged my skills in customer service, solution sales, facilitation and presentation, and event management to enhance the donor experience and promote the mission and vision of March of Dimes. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Public Relations and Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism from Duquesne University, and I am a Microsoft Office Certified Master. I am also professional proficient in Spanish, and have a keen interest in training, social media and public relations.
