About Ashley Oleary

I am an archaeology student currently looking for work, and eventually a career. I am interested in Native American and Prehistoric archaeology with a specific in lithic studies. I am also interested in Cultural Resource Management work. I have attended a field school and have worked on both prehistoric and historic archaeological sites. I am currently spending most of my time volunteering at the Boston City Archeology Laboratory sorting and cataloging artifacts under city archeologist Joseph Bagley. During my time at university, I also studied abroad for a semester (90 days) in Vienna, Austria studying International Business and traveled to Salzburg, Dürnstein, and Melk, Austria; Bruges and Brussels, Belgium; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Prague, Czech Republic; Berlin, Germany; and Paris, France. Also during my time at university, I attended 3 Northeastern Anthropological Association Annual (NEAA) Meetings in Buffalo, NY; Rindge, NH; and Bridgewater, MA. My extracurricular Involvements included the Anthropology Club/Atlatl Club, attending conferences and presentations on anthropology, and attending the Boston Museum of Science Archaeology Fair between 2009 and 2012. I am a hard worker and more than willing to add any additional skills and training to my resume. AREAS OF INTEREST: 1. Archaeology and Heritage education 2.
