About Ashley Palermo

Hi! I'm Ashley! I'm a Graduate Project Engineer at Nicholas O'Dwyer Dublin. I work mainly on UK and Irish Projects with varying levels of complexity in standards and design. My main role involves assisting multi-disciplinary design teams in the Design-Build area as well as Feasability. This includes mainly non-infrastructure projects regarding upgrades to Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP's). I have experience preparing hydraulic calculations for mechanical and civil works including mechanical equipment selection and procurement with the supply chain. In addition, I am familiar in developing P & IDs, General Arrangement Drawings, Control Philosophies, End of Project Reports, Scope of Works, Cash Flows, and Project Programmes. I have also developed a knowledge of Thames Water and Severn Trent design standards and guidance. As well as, experience of pump stations, gravity and pressurised pipe systems. I have a BAI in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. I have a history of working in Wastewater Engineering, Aerospace Systems Engineering, Product Development, and Lifeguarding.I am eager to learn new skills and do my best to pick up quickly. And I never back down from a challenge. Fun facts: I aspire to travel to all 7 continents (3/7 down). I play tennis, rugby, and am an active sea-swimmer.
