My expertise in real estate spans more than 8 years in the real estate industry, including areas of development, construction, management, leasing, and sales. I have a real estate license and a home builder’s license in the State of Alabama. Currently, I serve as a real estate agent for Colonial Commercial Realty and a project manager Lowder Construction Co, a commercial and home builder, in their projects and administration. From apartments, and commercial buildings, to customized homes, I see the projects from concept to reality and continue to manage the many aspects of residential and commercial developments. Working with these two leaders in the industry, I have a unique ability to be involved in all aspects of vision, development, and growth. Colonial Commercial Realty was founded in 1985 as a subsidiary of the now 67-year development enterprise, Colonial Company. Our strengths start with bringing competent analysis of plans to offer solutions for maintaining costs, timelines, and goals. From there, we estimate, supervise, and execute construction with a qualified group of subcontractors to help ensure the success of the project. I owned my own business, Betsy’s Cheese Straws, and oversaw all aspects of the company’s operations, including marketing, sales, finance, and human resources. After 10 years of distributing quality gourmet foods nationwide, my partner and I sold the business to Chattanooga Baking Company in 2007. This experience has allowed me to provide expert advice in management, finance, and insight to other companies. I am passionate about helping others grow their business and achieve their goals.
