About Ashley Patterson

In my role as program coordinator for communications in the Texas A&M University Department of Animal Science, I help tell the story of the amazing students, faculty, staff and experiences of the department. Through effective and refined digital strategies, I coordinate the internal communications strategy for monthly seminars, graduate student defenses, department news and various events. I also execute external communications by managing the department's social media accounts and contributing to the editorial content on AgriLife Today. As the department's communication liaison, I work with the Texas A&M AgriLife Marketing and Communications team to enhance the communication strategy and reach of the program's digital presence. Throughout my career, I have sharpened my communication and interpersonal skills and deepened my devotion to become a lifelong learner. I enjoy collaborating with marketing professionals and learning something new in the ever-evolving field of communications. While I have acquired various skills in the areas of digital marketing over the years, writing continues to fuel my passion and I will always find joy in telling the stories of the people in agriculture.
