Hello! I am Ashley Pullen, a passionate and driven Health Science-Leadership and Policy student with a deep-rooted desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare. My journey has taken me from the quiet, close-knit community where I grew up in rural Warren County to the bustling world of healthcare and wellness. Growing up in a rural community, I witnessed firsthand the challenges individuals face in accessing quality healthcare. These early experiences ignited a spark within me, propelling me to embark on a path towards becoming a healthcare professional dedicated to addressing these disparities. I firmly believe that healthcare should be accessible to everyone, irrespective of their background or circumstances. In my future role in healthcare management, I am focused on building strong relationships and developing creative solutions to address the unique challenges of providing care in both rural and urban communities. By connecting with key stakeholders and leveraging resources effectively, I aim to overcome barriers to access and ensure healthcare providers have what they need to deliver exceptional care. My approach prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and fostering partnerships to drive better health outcomes My previous work experience has instilled a passion to use my skills in active communication, relationship building, and dedication to put this goal into action. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in Alpha Chi Omega, Association of Trulaske Businesswomen, and Health Industry Sales Club where I have had the privilege of collaborating with like-minded individuals who share my passion for collaboration and bettering myself. I am graduating in December 2024 and am currently looking for an internship or an entry level job in non clinical healthcare setting. I am dedicated, willing to work hard, and excited to gain knowledge and experience in my future career path.
