In my current position at Freestone, I primarily serve as a Staff Geologist during the drilling and installation of groundwater wells. My experience with supporting well-site geology includes: • Providing technical oversight during the collection of soil samples. Describing and logging the lithology of soil samples taken for archival purposes • Collecting and analyzing water samples taken to support well development and modeling plume migration •Overseeing various methods of aquifer testing in support of aquifer characterization- Slug Test - Constant Rate Pumping Test • Supervising and acting as a point-of-contact between the client and contractor during drilling operations in the field - Drilling methods include: Sonic, Cable Tool and Dual Air Rotary • Creating and managing documents to support field operations - Borehole logs - Project and daily field forms • Author official reports published within the Department of Energy's internal system- Borehole Summary Reports
