About Ashley S.

My career objective is to continue working as registered veterinary technician. I want to continue to strengthen my skills and focus on continuing education. I feel that both my educational and professional background strongly highlights my ability to thrive as veterinary technician for many years to come. Several of my essential attributes and qualifications include- Graduated from Murray State University in May 2012, where I studied Veterinary Technology and Equine Science- 15+ years of previously having worked in a variety of veterinary hospitals, a small animal practice, a fast paced 24 hour small animal emergency practice, a mixed animal practice, a feline-only practice, an equine focused practice, specialty practice and a research facility- Having a willing attitude, the ability to multi-task, well developed problem solving skills, the ability to communicate well with my co-workers and to clients on the phone, as well as in person in a proper and professional manner, and the ability to work well in a groups as well as independently. I know my essential attributes and qualifications allow me to adapt to any situation and to continue to make a substantial contribution to the efficiency of my veterinary hospital.
