About Ashley Scott

Ashley graduated high school in 2014 from Adventist Christian Academy of Texas (now Conroe Adventist Academy). Afterwards, she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned a bachelor’s degree in public health with a minor in biology in 2018. Although her sights were originally set on the medical field to study pediatrics, she gradually developed a love for public health through her coursework during her undergraduate years. She took a gap year before she made a decision to pursue public health as her career. In 2022, she graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in epidemiology. Her current interests include health policy, epidemiology, mental health, and infectious diseases. However she’s open to any opportunities that will help her grow as a well rounded professional. With a background in diverse organizational memberships, work experience, and volunteering, she hopes her skills and expertise will be beneficial in assisting the safety and health of her community.
