About Ashley Straka

As the Associate Director of Program Operations at KVC Kentucky Health Systems, I lead, train, and supervise a dedicated team of six clinicians. I also serve as a senior leader overseeing a statewide team of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) clinicians. With expertise in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I am deeply committed to providing effective, trauma-informed care to children and families. In my role, I work alongside senior leadership to ensure our programs are impactful, evidence-based, and centered on the holistic needs of the individuals we serve. I am passionate about mentoring and guiding incoming behavioral health providers, helping them develop the skills and understanding to provide compassionate, comprehensive care. Looking ahead, I aim to continue fostering a supportive environment for clinicians while advancing the integration of trauma-informed practices across the behavioral health field.
