About Ashley Talbot

With more than two decades’ management experience with the Western Australian State Government, I have forged a career that has delivered a host of significant economic benefits for the state, in particular regional areas. Since completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma in Business (Management) from Edith Cowan University in Perth, I have embarked upon a career characterised by hard work, determination and, most importantly, successful outcomes. From CEO of an Aboriginal enterprise and employment development corporation to project management and broader management roles with several State Government departments, I have overseen the conception and implementation of numerous multi-million dollar projects throughout the state. Whether managing a team of more than 60 for the Department of Commerce or overseeing complex Royalties for Regions projects that deliver employment, infrastructure and life-changing outcomes for regional West Australians, I attribute my successful contribution to a high work ethic, an application of the values of honesty and integrity, and pursuit of professional development.
