About Ashley Wallace

I have over two years experience with auditing and assurance services. While working as an auditor, I had exposure to various industries, including manufacturing, employee benefit plans, financial institutions, construction contractors and nonprofit and government. I also have over two years experience working as a senior accountant in a Small Business department. In this role, I performed reviews, compilations, monthly close procedures, trustee reporting, agreed upon procedures, tax planning, fixed asset maintenance and payroll tax filings. While working as a controller for a small private company, in the early stages of development, I was able to gain experience in many areas. I performed all financial activity for the business, including creating a chart of accounts, creating sound financial statements, month end close procedures, accounts receivable/payable, inventory control, fixed asset maintenance, payroll, tax filings, ACH transactions, creating invoices and daily general ledger accounting. As the business planned to grow, I played an integral role in creating the projected financial statements for the bank, and worked closely with the bankers to see the loan through to close. After close, I was responsible for maintaining our budget and managing distributions from the loan. As a senior accountant at a public accounting firm, I have gained skills in the following areas; complex personal tax returns, business tax returns, and have also continued my growth in financial reporting creating and adjusting trial balances for corporate returns, compilations, reviews and audits. While working as a senior accountant for a restaurant franchise, I worked closely with the CFO and was responsible for the following; monthly period close, financial statements, processing payroll, franchisee reporting and more. Through the experience working for both public and corporate operations, I have grown both personally and professionally and have a lot to offer.
