About Ashley Weber
I have over a decade of experience in neonatal nursing and research. The goal of my patient-oriented program of research is to improve health outcomes for preterm infants and their families, who must learn to manage chronic, complex infant care stemming from prematurity-related conditions. As a nurse scientist, I aim to design, test, and translate evidence-based family-centered care (FCC) interventions into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), so that families can safely and effectively manage infant care. My love for my job and my patients inspired me to have a career in which my sole goal is to find solutions to those challenges. Research empowers patients.
