Ashley Webster Rudolph is the Associate Publisher of The Business Journal in Fresno, California. Alongside her father, Gordon M. Webster Jr, she leads a team of 16 professionals covering exclusive local business news across the four-county region. Ashley’s primary focus is the publication’s events division, which has experienced significant growth over the past five years. As the fifth generation to work in her family’s 139-year-old publishing company, she celebrated her 17th work anniversary in January 2025.Beyond her professional role, Ashley is deeply committed to community service. She actively volunteers with local nonprofits and is a devoted member of the Rotary Club of Fresno, where she has led the Warm Kit Project for more than seven years. Through this initiative, she mobilizes fellow Rotarians to fund and distribute sweatshirts, shirts, socks, beanies, and gloves to children in need. To date, more than warm kits have been donated.Ashley is a past president and honorary member of PINC (Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of the Community). During her presidency in 2019, PINC raised a record-breaking for Breaking the Chains, a nonprofit dedicated to combating human trafficking. She is also actively involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she raised more than in just 10 weeks and earned the title of 2017 Woman of the Year. She currently serves a four-year term as a board trustee and mentors candidates in the Visionaries of the Year campaign.Her family foundation helped renovate the Day Room at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley. In recognition of their support, the foundation and The Business Journal received the Heart of the House Award at the RMHCCV Red Heart Ball in February 2025. Ashley also serves as an RMHCCV Ambassador working alongside other young philanthropists in the Valley.Ashley’s honors include the President’s Volunteer Service Award from President Donald J. Trump (2018), the Women Inspiring Girls Award from Girl Scouts of Central California (2019), Central Valley 40 Under 40, Family Business Magazine’s NextGen to Watch (2021), Transformational Woman in Business – Excellence in Legacy (2022), Professional of the Year from the American Advertising Federation (2023), and the City of Fresno Women of the Year Award, presented by Mayor Jerry Dyer (2025).Her greatest passions are being a wife and mother, serving her community, and working alongside her father to continue the publishing legacy founded by her great-great-grandfather in 1886.
