About Ashley Whitlock

I’m a passionate person who loves soccer and people. I’ve been coaching for eighteen years, both part time and now full time. My experience has been with ages u5-u17. From 2012-2023 I had a career in IOM alongside a variety of other medical professionals. While I enjoyed IOM and am profoundly grateful for my time in that field, my heart has always been in soccer. My legacy goal is to be a part of coalition that uplifts communities through The Beautiful Game. I believe every person deserves to experience high level coaching, a safe environment to be themselves, have a positive team culture that fosters healthy relationships, and to be surrounded by a loving community. Currently, I oversee the SLA and CAYSA Programs with FC Westlake, coach, and am the chapter lead for Street Soccer USA in Austin. Learning, growing, taking on challenges, creating solutions, collaborating, and celebrating successes are all things I enjoy on and off of the pitch. I strive for evolution personally and professionally. Firm believer it’s not who we say we are, but it’s what we do that defines us. Thanks for reading!
