About Ashley Withrow

At the intersection of victim advocacy and academic research, my career has been dedicated to enhancing support systems for individuals affected by trauma. The core of my work at the Cleveland Clinic centers on crisis intervention, community outreach, and the development of educational programs that directly empower victims and influence policy change. With a focus on evidence-based practice, my contributions extend to managing grant funding and shaping workplace violence prevention strategies. The academic rigor from my ongoing PhD studies in Social Welfare at Case Western Reserve complements my practice experience. It has honed my skills in data collection and analysis, systematic literature reviews, and the management and implementation of research projects. Our team collaborates on manuscripts that aim to dismantle systemic barriers to recovery, and I am deeply engaged in research that elucidates resilience and protective factors for survivors of trauma.
