As a Mechanical Engineer with a dual focus in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from Penn State, I am passionate about transforming complex challenges into innovative solutions that drive progress in both wearable robotics and the automotive industry. My experience spans from designing and developing advanced exoskeletons for children with Cerebral Palsy to engineering critical components for heavy-duty trucks. In my role as a Wearable Robotics Engineer Intern at Humotech, I led the redesign of a $60K+ exoskeleton system, applying my technical expertise to create a product that significantly improves the mobility of children in research labs. This project allowed me to merge technical design with hands-on prototyping and manufacturing while also collaborating closely with executive leadership to ensure the end product met the highest standards of safety and functionality. At Volvo Group North America, I took on the challenge of designing and validating engine components for future truck models. My work here underscored my commitment to precision and quality, resulting in a 100% acceptance rate for my designs. I thrive on identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance both product performance and manufacturing efficiency. In addition to my technical skills, I bring strong leadership experience, which I have demonstrated through my role as Team Lead for the chassis team at Penn State Formula Racing. I introduced lean manufacturing processes that reduced design time by 66%, leading our team to a top-25 global finish in the Formula SAE competition.
