I am a proficient program manager who is committed to authentically building relationships and leveraging these, along with additional resources, to improve people and processes. My personal philosophy is to leave things better than the way you found them, and this is evident through my work, community outreach and stretch projects. Known for my exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, I excel in coordinating and overseeing various initiatives to ensure their successful completion. In my current role as a Business Program Manager (BPM) at Microsoft, I support the Atlanta Finance Community. In a nutshell, I own all things related to culture and operations for our Finance Hub (i.e, all employees ultimately reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, Amy Hood) here in Atlanta. This unique role was newly created, and it enables me to effectively navigate ambiguity and mold how we execute our hub's strategy and achieve our priorities. My role as a BPM is not just about managing projects; it's about creating a community where everyone can thrive and make a difference. My commitment to the community extends beyond the workplace. I am extremely passionate about pouring into my community through volunteer work and philanthropic efforts that promote food security, affordable housing and education. I enjoy being hands-on with the work that I do whether it's mentoring youth or farming, foraging and serving on the board for Concrete Jungle. I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. This endeavor is a testament to my growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning and bringing new insights to my professional role. Personally, I am deeply rooted in family, an aspiring polyglot and a lover of all things traveling, baking, and reading.
