From June 2022 through February 2024 I was the east coast recovery production coordinator for SpaceX. I was responsible for all production coordination and inventory responsibilities at the east coast recovery dock and both landing zones. I supported multiple teams including booster and fairing recovery technicians and engineers, dragon capsule recovery technicians and engineers, environmental health and safety, high power, leadership and scheduling and all marine operations personnel. I ensured all material is kitted to their respective work orders and on the production floor prior to vessel departure for all of the marine vessels on the east coast including the Just Read The Instructions & A Shortfall of Gravitas droneships, Bob & Doug fairing recovery ships, and the Megan & Shannon dragon capsule recovery ships. I was also responsible for distributing hundreds of packages of non inventory parts to the respective teams in the racking and crates I have created. I ensured these were ready for pickup as personnel return from offshore missions as we often have quick mission turnarounds. I have led a four month long project in doubling the recovery fulfillment center in size by expanding to an outdoor inventory location adding 3 more seavans, new pallet racking and cantilever racking. Previously the long material was left on the floor causing a safety hazard. Now it is stored high off the ground in a more safe and efficient manner making it much quicker to fulfill inventory requests. I have earned two kickass awards for my efforts in taking extreme ownership over recovery logistics in only 8 months of being with the company. From August 2021 to June 2022 I worked as a shipping and receiving clerk at Southern Tape and Label. I packaged shipments and pallets each day. I received daily truck and ground deliveries inspecting for quality and accuracy while filing records. I used UPS and FedEx computer systems to ship packages as well as e-ship manager to schedule freight truck pickups including SouthEastern Freight Lines, FedEx Freight, R&L Carriers and more. I have no difficulty standing for an 8 hour shift. I served as an active duty US Marine from August 2017-2021. I had the MOS of 3051, inventory management specialist, and earned the rank of Corporal (E-4). I was the NCOIC (non commissioned officer in charge) of my units warehouse. I received 2 Certificate of Commendation awards and multiple letters of appreciation. I was stationed at Marine Air Support Squadron 3, Camp Pendleton, California.
