I am a Computer Science student at the University of North Texas, pursuing a BS in the Security Track with an embedded NSA/DHS Cybersecurity Certificate (expected 2028). As a U.S. Air Force veteran with six years in Security Forces, I bring proven leadership, problem-solving, and resilience under pressure. My professional background spans military operations, veterinary technology, healthcare, and customer service - all requiring adaptability, technical precision, and strong communication. These diverse experiences have built a foundation that now supports my transition into technology. I am focused on developing skills in software engineering, cybersecurity, and IT systems, with growing proficiency in programming (C++, Java, Python) and security fundamentals. I aim to leverage this training and my military discipline to contribute to innovative solutions in software and cybersecurity. Currently seeking opportunities to apply my skills in software development, IT security, or cybersecurity roles while completing my degree.
