About Ashlyn Perryman

Terminally licensed and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy) and TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy) trained. Experience with kids, adolescents, and adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings as well as local domestic violence shelters. Through individual therapy, family sessions, group therapy, and crisis intervention and stabilization, I am passionate about using a client-centered approach and firmly believe in collaboration guiding treatment to help clients and their families achieve their identified goals for treatment. Through my professional work experience, supervision, and internships, I have experience working with a variety of mental illnesses, including PTSD and other trauma-and-attachment-related diagnoses, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and more. Through the therapeutic process, I always strive to be validating, empowering, and affirming, prioritizing building a client’s sense of self-worth and feelings of confidence and competence.
