About Ashna Modi

Hello! I’m a Landscape Architectural Designer and Urban Designer, with a passion for creating inclusive, meaningful public spaces. With a Master’s in Urban Design from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s in Landscape Design, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective to projects that span civic, cultural, and ecological contexts. My work is shaped by international experience, and guided by a belief that landscapes hold memory, identity, and the potential to support community wellbeing. My toolkit includes: • AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS • Concept development, stakeholder engagement, and visual storytelling • Certifications in ecological restoration, project management, and graphic design I’ve contributed to design and coordination on projects across India and Canada, ranging from riverfront revitalization to civic open spaces always approaching each site with care, curiosity, and a commitment to design excellence.
