professional synopsis Fieldwork • Plan, distribute and supervise daily maintenance work i.e. breakdown, shutdown, preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance; • Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis and analysis of the problems; • Coordinate with allied functions and departments i.e. operations, workshop, stores and safety so as to get necessary permits and clearances and ensure smooth execution of work; • Coordinate and ensure attending to service requests; • Maintain safe working practices by team; • Ensure History/record keeping of equipment; • Execute of condition monitoring & preventive maintenance program for critical equipment as per schedule; • Respond to emergency call as required Material management Monitor inventory records, consumption patterns to plan for procurement of spares and items; Raise requirements for needed materials and follow up with respective department. Assist with inspection of incoming spares and materials. Statutory requirements Generate, maintain, and update proper documents and records to comply with statutory requirements; Generate and maintain records related to safety; Prepare and maintain shutdown and breakdown reports; Housekeeping Ensure and oversee cleaning of work area and disposal of scrap and debris post maintenance; Ensure plant store management. Safety and Environment Care Use prescribed PPE’s to maintain personal safety; Maintain plant safety by following safe practices; Prevent damage to environment and minimize wastage through proper action; Report near miss accidents / unsafe conditions. People Management Ensure fair distribution of work to technicians and team; Provide functional and technical guidance to team so as to maintain and enhance work quality.
