As the Head of Operations and Planning at Flipkart, one of India's largest e-commerce platforms, I lead the strategic and operational aspects of the first mile, last mile, and planning functions for the central zone, covering the east and west regions. I have an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the National Institute of Business Management, and more than 20 years of rich experience in the supply chain domain.My core competencies include network design, planning, managing distribution centers, branch operations, inventory control, vehicle dispatches, route planning, and third-party vendor management. I have successfully driven supply chain operations for distributing goods through air, surface, express, and reverse modes, with a key focus on top-line and bottom-line profitability, customer satisfaction, and resource optimization. I have also contributed to the implementation, monitoring, and balancing of multiple functions and activities in high-pressure, globally oriented environments. I am an excellent communicator, problem solver, and team player, with a passion for innovation and excellence in the e-commerce industry.
