I am a recent economics graduate from California State University-Sacramento, currently working as a Senate Intern in the office of Senator Melissa Hurtado. I have a strong interest in public policy and legislative affairs, and a solid foundation in analytical and communication skills.In my internship, I conduct thorough research on various legislative matters to support the senator's policy ideas and initiatives. I also manage crucial senate floor information, prepare the senator for committee meetings, and interact with constituents and stakeholders. I am passionate about contributing to the legislative process and learning from the senator and her staff. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have previously worked as an Eligibility Specialist at Solano County and a Capitol Intern at Senator Ben Hueso's office. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the community.
