About Ashraf Alshashaa

My name is Ashraf. I’m originally from Syria and studied law in the University of Damascus. Due to the war, I relocated to the Netherlands in 2019. After settling here, I chose to pursue a new career path outside of law. I began as an Inventory & Quality Manager, which introduced me to the world of IT. In this role, I worked extensively with databases and software for managing inventory and quality control. My interest in IT grew quickly, leading me to join a development traineeship at HackYourFuture. Through this program, I built a solid foundation in development, learning a range of programming languages, frameworks and technologies such as Python, FastAPI, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js. I continued to build my expertise with the Motopp traineeship, which deepened my understanding of IT fundamentals and provided hands-on experience in roles such as data analyst, software developer, and tester. In my free time, I enjoy creating projects and sharing them on GitHub, continuously aiming to improve as a developer. I’m passionate about leveraging IT to create impactful projects and optimize processes, and I look forward to advancing my career by combining my diverse background and technical skills to make a meaningful impact.
