About Ashraf Hammouri

With a foundation in Industrial Engineering and a global career that has spanned engineering, supply chain, international sales, and entrepreneurship, I bring a uniquely versatile perspective to the medical device industry. I began my career in aerospace, focused on process optimization and production planning. My journey then took me into Med Devices, where I’ve worn multiple hats—working as a hands-on engineer, leading supply chain operations, and serving as an international sales manager. I even launched and operated a medical device distribution company in Jordan, gaining firsthand experience in commercialization and market development. Driven to deepen my strategic and marketing acumen, I pursued my MBA at UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business, where I earned a fellowship. During my time as an MBA student, I interned with the U.S. Marketing team at Edwards Lifesciences. I later joined the company full-time through their Strategic Leadership Development Program, rotating across sales programs, downstream marketing, and upstream marketing—including early-phase product development.
