Background

About Ashraf S.

I've spent my career doing one thing: making factories smarter, long before the industry had a name for it.At Siemens, I architected the MindSphere Closed-Loop Digital Twin, one of the first enterprise platforms to close the loop between physics-based simulation, live IIoT sensor data, and predictive analytics. At GE, I built a real-time digital twin for a production line, feeding live PLC and HMI data into a simulation model that transformed how managers made decisions — predictive instead of reactive. At Cascade Die Casting, I drove OEE from 47% to 83% in 32 weeks through TPM and automation, back when most people were still figuring out what Industry 4.0 meant.Today, I advise enterprise clients on where AI-powered simulation is going and how to get there fast. Whether it's deploying Siemens Xcelerator and Insights Hub, designing IIoT data architectures on AWS or Azure, or building a boardroom-ready business case for a closed-loop digital twin program, I've done it, sold it, and delivered it.What's rare about my background: I can walk a shop floor in the morning, present ROI to a CFO in the afternoon, and brief a global engineering team by end of day. That bridge between operational reality and executive strategy is exactly where most digital transformation initiatives fail, and where I've consistently delivered.Focus areas: Digital Twin Architecture · Closed-Loop IIoT · Siemens MindSphere / Xcelerator / Insights Hub · AWS & Azure Industrial IoT · Generative AI in Manufacturing · SimOps · PLM Strategy · TPM / OEE Optimization · Fortune 500 AdvisoryLet's connect: ashraf.suri@msn.com
