With a robust foundation in Business and Administration from Weymouth College, my journey at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has evolved to a Senior Admissions Officer role where precision, effective communication, and deadline management are paramount. Leading a small team whilst managing the Gynaecology Inpatient waiting list, I ensure sensitive patient information is handled with the utmost care, and cancer patients receive timely diagnostics and treatment. My goal is to continually enhance our service delivery, attending pivotal PTL meetings, MDT tracking and collaborating with clinical staff and consultants. I have reduced the Gynaecology waiting list by more than 50% and reduced our long waiters, of which our longest waiter was 95 weeks, and now our longest waiter as of February 2025 is 55 weeks, in the year I have been working with the Gynaecology team showing my commitment to excellence in healthcare administration. I am driven to make a lasting impact in the NHS, aiming for a lifelong career where my administrative expertise supports patient care and service efficiency.
