I’m a healthcare professional with a background in patient access, insurance verification, and financial counseling. In my current role as a Financial Counselor at Baylor Scott & White, I work directly with patients and families to make the financial side of care less stressful. That includes verifying insurance, providing cost estimates, setting up payment plans, and helping patients apply for financial assistance when needed.I hold a Master of Science in Health Services Administration and several HFMA certifications, which have given me both the technical knowledge and the leadership tools to support patients while also improving revenue cycle processes.What drives me most is being able to combine empathy with problem-solving helping patients feel supported while also making sure the organization’s financial health is protected.
