About Ashton Olney

After graduating on May 2019 from Florida Polytechnic University I started my journey at FIS. With the chance to improve and develop new skills I am excited to continue on this path. I have experience with Aircraft Familiarization, Computer system breakdowns/setups, C, C++, and Linux. My academic studies include, but are not limited to, programming, computer networks, digital logic design, and computer architecture. In addition to my academic studies, I have assumed a leadership role at my school as a Professional Development Chair for Florida Polytechnic Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Under this role, I am responsible for providing professional development opportunities and other tools to assist in leading out students to having successful interactions in the workforce after graduation. With a strong passion for aviation and my chosen career path. I am eager to keep working in a computer science related field so I can expand my knowledge and skills.
