About Ashutosh Kumar Jha

I am a diligent and motivated law student with a passion for legal research and advocacy. My diverse internships and experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of various areas of law, including contract law, criminal law, civil law, family law, property law, civil procedure, and consumer protection law. I have had the privilege to work with esteemed legal professionals and gain hands-on experience in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda, as well as assisting with trial preparation and attending court hearings. I am currently pursuing a B.A.LLB (Hons) degree at Starex University, Gurugram, where I have consistently demonstrated my dedication to the field of law. In addition to my academic pursuits, I actively participate in various extracurricular activities. As the President of the Sakshya Moot Court Society at Starex University, I have organized and conducted numerous moot court competitions and legal events. I also provide training sessions to moot court teams and mentor new members. Furthermore, I served as the President of the Umeed Foundation (NGO) in Gurugram, where I organized awareness programs to protect the environment, conducted cleanliness drives, participated in wall paint drives, and facilitated food and clothes distribution drives. As a volunteer at the Legal Aid Clinic in Starex University, I have assisted clients with legal research and drafting of legal documents. Moreover, I have conducted legal awareness programs for underprivileged communities and performed Nukkad Natak on women empowerment. Additionally, I have participated in several notable competitions, such as the Intra College Moot Court Competitions, Juris-Prudence'2022 National Moot Court Competition by Quantum University, the Vidhigya National Moot Court Competition by Chandigarh University, the 17th All India Moot Court Competition by GLC Thiruvananthapuram, and the 3rd National Moot Court Competition by Bahra University. I have participated in workshops on research and drafting essentials and have attended research classes under the guidance of Adv. Aishwarya Sandeep, where I also contributed by writing articles. With a strong foundation in legal studies, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, I am confident in my ability to excel in any legal environment. I am currently seeking new challenges and opportunities to contribute to the legal field and make a positive impact on society.
