With a foundation in Marketing and over 16 years of experience managing complex, large-scale Engineering projects, I’ve built a career at the intersection of strategic planning, operational excellence, and project execution — particularly within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Currently serving as a Program Manager at Biocon, I lead high-value CAPEX initiatives, ensuring seamless execution from design to commissioning. My expertise spans capital expenditure management, document control systems, and advanced project planning tools like Microsoft Project and Power BI — enabling data-driven decisions and real-time visibility into scope, schedule, and budget. Prior to this, I have worn multiple hats — from Project Scheduler to Project Controls Manager — where I was instrumental in creating baseline schedules, cost tracking frameworks, and risk mitigation plans for both greenfield and brownfield projects. I also played a key role in the design and development of pharmaceutical equipment across two leading OEMs, where I engineered critical equipment such as ILC Dover's aseptic and pressure isolators, Hecht GmbH vacuum transfer systems & material handling systems, granulation lines, and process equipment tailored for cleanroom and GMP-compliant environments. My hands-on experience also in designing equipment such as laminar airflow units, fume hoods, pass boxes and reactors has deepened my understanding of end-to-end pharma manufacturing needs — blending mechanical design precision with operational functionality. As a certified Yoga Instructor and PMP®, I’m passionate about holistic well-being and mindful living — this values that shape my leadership style and professional focus.
