About Ashwin Deena

As a Data Scientist at Guidehouse, I develop and deploy innovative machine learning POCs across diverse industries, including Finance, Defense, Energy, and Cybersecurity. I have a BS in Computational and Systems Biology from UCLA, with a concentration in Biological Data Sciences. My core competencies include machine learning with a focus on NLP and Generative AI. In my current role, I leverage Large Language Models like GPT-4 and Llama to automate critical client workflows, significantly reducing development and execution time. I also implement Fine Tuning, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Prompt Engineering to evaluate model performance differences before implementing the best possible solutions into our workflows. The solutions I develop save clients significant time and money and are robust and scalable. I currently work primarily with Azure but also have knowledge in AWS services and technologies such as Sagemaker, S3, EC2, Lambda, and Docker for efficient data processing, traditional model training, and deployment. I enjoy collaborating with my team and clients, learning new skills and technologies, and solving challenging problems with data and am passionate about applying data science to make a positive impact in various domains.
