About Ashwin Gowda

My professional career began at a media sharing company in Boston. As a Software Engineer, I wrote Python scripts that automated adding, editing, and deleting new Json files in the existing database in AWS S3. At Voya Financials, I helped automate sending different queries to specific business needs at a timely basis. This empowered business to stay up to date with key information without having to worry about quality assurance. I used JDBC writer and SFTP/FTP to send the information to coworkers. Also, created the front end for a business application. My final experience is with Hewlett Packard Enterprises. I researched on Dengue Fever spikes, and used precipitation data from NASA to create models that predicted the amount of cases on a monthly basis. I cleaned data, analyzed results, and optimized a Random Forest model up to a 96% prediction accuracy. My mind has evolved over time with the technological achievements that have striven us forward; and in turn, I'd rather be on the fore front harnessing these powers instead of shying away.
