Management professional with over 8 years of experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains across Retail, Information Technology, and Health Care sectors. My foundation includes an engineering background and an MBA focused on supply chain and international management. I have driven cost savings in public procurement by leveraging data and improving operational efficiencies in strategic sourcing and contract management. At the same time, nurturing strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders - including directors, executives and clinicians at various health authorities across British Columbia. In my earlier role, I managed the Home Theatre Source & Accessories portfolio at BestBuy Canada as a Demand Planner - owning the supply chain flow both for in-store & e-commerce operations; managing optimal inventory levels at 4 Distribution Centers, 2 E-commerce fulfillment centers, and 140+ retail locations. Developed both bottom-up and top-down demand projections for the category aligning with omni-channel marketing initiatives. I was exposed to retail & supply chain operations from the early days of my career as an IT developer working with Toys'R'Us - a multinational retailer, where I was involved not only in the development but also in the business analysis part gathering requirements and setting project goals in an agile environment. I believe in a data-driven approach for any high-impact decision-making hence I relish interpreting business data to get to the root cause while partnering with stakeholders to arrive at conclusions in a well-informed manner. Process optimization and sustainability have always been my areas of interest. The final year project during my engineering bachelor's was to design and fabricate a single-motor Honing Machine. As opposed to utilizing the typical dual-motor design, my prototype attained both linear and rotary motion with a single motor, reducing the overall energy usage by 32%. The same drive for optimization has led me to take up my MBA dissemination on integrating sustainability principles to improve the supply chain efficiency of Intermodal Logistics for a 3PL firm.
