About Ashwin Telang

I started my corporate journey with Colgate-Palmolive in July 2015, beginning with SAP DMS, where I gained hands-on experience in business processes, integration testing, DILT, and Go-Live/Post Go-Live support.Soon after, I transitioned to the Integration team, where I managed order creation through OCR technology in SAP. This phase helped me build foundational ABAP skills and deepen my expertise in middleware technologies and IDoc processes. After three and a half years working extensively with ReadSoft and integration platforms, I moved into a functional role.Over the next year, I worked closely with business teams to support analytics initiatives and led several successful project go-lives. From early 2020 to early 2024, I was part of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) team, contributing to multiple SD projects—including the S/4HANA implementation for the Europe region.Currently, I’m part of the B2B team, focused on optimizing and supporting middleware technologies at Colgate.I’m passionate about understanding FMCG business processes and applying IT solutions—particularly in ERP, middleware, and analytics—to drive efficiency, innovation, and value.
