With over 20+ years of progressive experience in IT industry, I’ve worked enthusiastically in Database administration field and so far been involved in administering, managing, building and supporting Database environments as Operations/Application Sr.DBA on-premises and cloud (MS Azure). For today’s cloud and hybrid environments, I’ve extensive hands on work experience for large to small businesses and I’m certified as: Azure Solutions Architect Azure Database Administrator MS Technology specialist MCDBA CCNA MySQL So far, in summary: • Managing and Administering SQL 2008R2-2019 in Hybrid and Cloud (MS Azure) environments • Performance Tuning and Optimization – Analyzing the code with execution plans and implementing solutions using by defining/eliminating indexes, adding/removing filters with best practices • High-availability – AlwaysON AG, Conventional Cluster, DB Replication, Log-shipping • Writing T-SQL Scripts ( Stored Procedures, Views, functions, triggers etc) • Backups/Restores – MSSQL native and third party tools like RedGate, NetApp, Idera etc. • Monitoring – Native SQL Profile or third party tools like Solarwinds (DPA), Spotlight (Quest), SQL Monitor (RedGate) etc • Building new SQL Servers environments (Cluster,Always-on AG, Standalone) • Data Analysis and report writing - using SSRS or Crystal reports • Active member on Change Management team - for any major production roll-outs • Coordination with Application/Development teams • Setting up and supporting On-Call rotation with 24/7 support with On-site and offshore teams
