Having been specialized from first Hotel and Catering School opened in Maldives opened by Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with WTO and EEC, belongs to 1st batch that was opened in year 1987, has worked in many resorts as head of department. Hence moved from Reservation Manager to Marketing Manager, meantime held post together as a Personal Assistant to Chairman in Sunland Hotels and Hotels and Resorts. Specialized mainly in the field of marketing in hospitality and have been worked in the field for many years in some of the reputable hotel groups in Maldives. Have attended to various Travel Exhibitions in abroad. Have been serving the Maldives Tourism Industry for 27 years by 2014.Mainly specialized in hotel contracting, internal and external marketing, Business Development, Tour operation, Cruise operation, ground handing service and Airline Ground operation Service.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AND OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS• Presidential Cup Winner at Hotel and Catering School in 1987 for best subject award- HK. • First Maldivian Reservation Manager – at Humming Bird Helicopters • Have attended ITB, WTM, DEMA USA etc• Acquiring and Operation incharge for Star Odyssis (Star Cruise – Largest Cruise company in Asia) on her Maiden Voyages to Maldives (whilst in Sunland Travels)• Incharge for supervising and looking after the VVIP Room – for Prime Minister of Australia Houward Jonson – also a member serving during the first SAARC Summit in Maldives at Kurumba Village • Opening Team member for 3 up market Resorts, Coco Palm Dunikolhu, Filitheyo Island Resorts and Spa and Medhufushi Island Resort and Spa• Assisting Managing Director of Sunland Hotels in the opening of Coco Palm Dunikolhu – over role incharge during tentative opening and systemising the departments
